We have also introduced the Waste Water Recycling System to the Chiba Factory!

It is an environmentally friendly system!
In April 2005, the waste water recycling system was introduced to the Chiba Factory following the Yokohama Factory.

Vast amount of water is necessary for laundry. By recycling 80% of the waste water produced by washing, we can protect the environment and effectively utilize our limited water resources. This will not only reduce the amount of water we use, but also reduce the amount of waste water.

The recycling rate is 75% at the Yokohama Factory and 80% at the Chiba Factory.

The system uses pure water to wash and finishes linen to superior quality!

Linen is washed by pure water filtered through the membrane separation activated sludge process and RO membrane. As pure water itself has excellent melting capacity, there is no need for abrasives containing detergents, and linen is given a soft finish with a boosted natural whiteness.
